Only one more day till we unveil CrossFit Football. It will be an exciting and fun day. You will get to choose your own workout on Saturday in order to maximize your score.

Today's Workout will be 5 Rounds for Time:
21, 18, 15, 12, 9 Rep Rounds
Sumo Deadlift High Pull 75m/55w
Push Jerk 75m/55w

The new and improved Members Only Blog is up. The website functionality has not changed, and all page views and comment views are the same. However in order to post a comment you must be a registered member.

On the right hand side of the page below the Calendar is the Log In box. If it's your first time logging in please click on the Register link right below the Log In. Fill out the form and create your username and password. Once you submit you will be able to blog and comment all you want to, about anything. Everyone will be able to read the comments, but only MEMBERS will be allowed to post.

Today is the official start of the football season. There will be many football games occurring on Sunday. I think I have found a new way to play football CrossFit style. I hope that gives everyone a little insight into Saturday's workout. It is a new workout I created that will score a lot of points with some of you.

Today's Workout will be 3 Rounds for Time:
1/4 Mile Run
30 Box Jumps
30 Wall Ball 20m/14w

Today's Workout will be strictly cardio...IF you can maintain your pace.


4 x 500 m Row
2 Minutes rest in between sets.

If you cannot maintain your pace however, penalties will be given for deviations from your first Row time. Example: If your first Row time is a 1:45 and your second row time is a 1:50 you will have 5 seconds worth of penalties. Penalties will be 3 Push Ups for every second you are over. resulting in 15 Push Ups.
Penalties are to be completed during your 2 minutes of rest.

Today's Workout will be a strength based workout. We haven't done one of these in a long time.


Today's Workout is 5 Rounds for Max Load:
5 Deadlift

You must maintain correct form throughout the entire range of motion or you will be told to abort the lift and we will start again at a lighter weight.

Mechanics & Form, Consistency, Intensity. We want all of these things, but they must come in this order.

The Comments section has been disabled for a short period of time. We will be instituting a log in process so that the blog will remain open to all of our members, but to no one else. It is your blog and has always been a positive place, I want to make sure it continues to be that way. I'm sorry for the inconvenience that this may have caused, if any.
